A Short Stop In Honolulu
Updated: Feb 7
When we planned the trip to Australia since we were traveling from San Diego, we decided to stop in Honolulu for a couple of days to shorten the never ending flight. Of course a couple of days was not nearly long enough to spend in Hawaii but I was still happy to have some time there.
Below is a photo taken on an early morning walk along Kahanamoku Beach, the western end of Waikiki Beach which is named after Duke Kahanamoku who is known as the father of modern surfing.
The Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is next to the beach in front of several of the hotels on Waikiki Beach for walking, wading or learning to paddle board and really fun for the kids.
Breakfast was the best - fresh ingredients and delicious.
